i-dosing...it's no Pink Floyd???
Earlier this morning as I was roaming through some headlines I came across an interesting story from London about what is supposedly the next big thing in the teenage drug scene.
Apparently, somewhere along the line, it was discovered that certain tones can give a listener the sensation of being high.
It appears there is quite the market for this and what kids are doing is downloading these specific music tracks and listening to them through headphones while they lay down.
There are tons of videos of this on YouTube, so if you don't believe me watch for yourself.
It just seems a little odd to me. I mean, I used to listen to Pink Floyd's "The Wall" while I laid in bed trying to sleep, but the craziest thing it ever did was help me sleep.
I mean, come on, if listening to The Wall didn't make the walls dance, chances are no other music is either. It's just the next trendy way to pretend you're high by feeling like you're not using "real" drugs.
At this link, a blogger gives it a try and is, shall I say, less than impressed.
I just thought this was something interesting I should share...any thoughts?
