Kiwanis celebrates 75 years in Dexter

The Dexter Kiwanis Club recently celebrated its 75th year as a service organization in Dexter. The longest serving, still active member of the club is Paul McGhee, who joined the Dexter Kiwanis Club in 1950 when they were holding their noon meetings at Cub's Cafe. The cafe was located at the Business 114 and Catalpa intersection. He was recalled to the Navy in 1951 during the Korean Conflict, but returned to Dexter in Sept. 1955 and became active in the Kiwanis again...
