A large crowd turned out as Dexter's wrestling team held its annual Red-Black Duel Tuesday night at the high school gymnasium. Many of the matches were the finals of the wrestle-offs where positions on the varsity roster are decided. Edgar Solen Kinser, son of the late Charles Jefferson Kinser and Dovie May Forkum Kinser, was born on May 9, 1926, in Powe and died in his residence in Dexter on Nov. 22, 2011, at the age of 85. Mr. Kinser attended the Lighthouse Christian Center at Dexter, was the owner of Kinser Jewelry in Bloomfield for 50 years, and was a veteran of the United States Army, serving in World War II...
