No positive ID yet on body found Thursday

Although the body found Thursday, Sept. 6 in a rural Dexter area has yet to be officially identified through the Medical Examiner's office in St. Louis, a tentative identification has been made, according to Stoddard County Coroner Aaron Mathis. "The Sheriff's Department and the Coroner's office has had an in-depth discussion with individuals believed to be family of the man found deceased," explained Mathis Monday, "and they are being kept up-to-date as the process of positive identification continues.". ...
