Arthur "Bernard" Pixley, son of the late Melvin W. Pixley and Gertrude H. Williams Pixley, was born on Aug. 15, 1920, in Advance, Mo., and died on May 3, 2013, at the Cypress Point Skilled Nursing Facility in Dexter at the age of 92. Mr. Pixley was a resident of Dexter and owned and operated Pixley's Body Shop in Dexter for several years, while also maintaining a small farm where he enjoyed raising horses and cattle. ...
