Rendleman sentencing to take place in Stoddard County

BLOOMFIELD, Mo. -- The sentencing phase for a Stoddard County man convicted of a 2012 violent rape will take place in Stoddard County. Stephen Clark Rendleman was convicted in a May jury trial that took place in Franklin County. Rendleman was charged with the unclassified felonies of forcible rape with aggravating acts, forcible sodomy and armed criminal action, the Class B felony of kidnapping, the Class C felony of felonious restraint, two counts of the Class A felony of assault of a law enforcement officer in the first degree, the Class D felony of property damage and the Class D felony of resisting arrest.. ...
