A Dexter man who admitted to exposing as many as 300 people to HIV appeared in court Thursday afternoon. David Lee Mangum, is currently being held at the Stoddard County Jail and faces 21 counts of the Class B felony of recklessly exposing another to HIV. Stoddard County Sheriff Carl Hefner reported two arrests involving illegal drug activity on Tuesday. As the result of a traffic stop on June 24, Stoddard County deputies located inside the vehicle two baggies containing crystal methamphetamine. Arrested was the driver of the vehicle, Tom A. McCoy Jr, 58, of Dexter. McCoy is charged with the Class C Felony of possession of a controlled substance. Bond was set at $15,000 cash only...
