Bonnie Lou Brewer, of Essex, daughter of the late Raymond Wilburn and Vergie Rhema Lane Gaines, was born in Dexter on Oct. 31, 1938, and died at the SoutheastHEALTH Center of Stoddard County in Dexter on Jan. 8, 2015, at the age of 76. Bonnie lived in Essex the past 24 years. She had worked as a cook at Polly's Drive In and The Pig along with many other jobs. She had attended the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Dexter for many years...
