Keller Library receives $2,000 grant

The Keller Public Library has received a LSTA Racing to Read Story Time Plus Grant of $2,000. These funds were used to purchase a large selection of early literacy books as well as items to enhance the children's area and programs. The library has added an array of hand puppets, a puppet stand, magnetic boards with letters, numbers and shape blocks, Story Time book sacks, and supplies to support program craft time such as construction paper, poster board, scissors and glue sticks...

Agricultural land assessed values go up in 2015

BLOOMFIELD, Mo. -- Beginning January 1, 2105, the State of Missouri agricultural productivity values will show an increase in the amount they are assessed. It is the first increase since 1995. The books of author Michael Dahl have become especially popular with the third, fourth, and fifth grade students at Central. He has written over 200 books for both children and adults.
