Clyde Vaughn, Sr., 94, passed away at his residence in Dexter on Sept. 9, 2015. Funeral services are currently incomplete and will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.

Margaret "Peg" Charlotte Bruyette, daughter of the late George C. Fischer and Margaret Mueller Fischer, was born on April 17, 1937, in Brooklyn, N.Y. and died on Sept. 8, 2015, at SoutheastHEALTH in Cape Girardeau, at the age of 78. David Franklin "Doc" Morris, 78, of Sikeston, peacefully died at his home surrounded by his wife and daughters on Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2015. Born on Oct. 12, 1936, in Ridgeway, Ill., to the late Clifford Keasler Morris and Eva May Ellen Justice Morris. He was a 1954 Sikeston High School graduate. Staff Reports An autopsy was scheduled for Thursday to confirm the cause of death of an Advance woman who was located dead in her home following a fire late Tuesday night.
