The Dexter Police Department and the Stoddard County Juvenile Office conducted a firearms investigation at Dexter High School on Tuesday. According to Dexter Police Chief Hank Trout, a handgun was recovered from the vehicle of a 16-year-old female student. Trout said the vehicle was parked on school property at the time.
