The city of Bernie is under a boil water advisory until further notice according to a statement released by Bernie City Hall. The city said another statement will be released when the advisory is lifted.

Work is expected to start soon on renovations and repairs at the Stoddard County Sheltered Workshop after the county’s Senate Bill 40 Board signed a contract and approved the first payment at its regular meeting Thursday, July 21.  Scott Murphy with Rick Shipman Construction told the board that the first phase of work will begin on the east side of the building featuring the warehouse and loading dock. ...
