No increase in local tax levy; archived student records to go digital

A "model of consistency" is how Dexter Schools Supt. Dr. Thomas Sharp referred to the board's decision to keep the district's current tax levy at $3.32, remaining unchanged for the past 16 years. The $2.75 per one-hundred assessed valuation, is the proposed minimum operating levy allowed by Amendment 2, Article 10, Section 11 of the Missouri Constitution. The amount is combined with a .57 cent levy in debt service.
