DHS students perform for Mo. Choral Directors Assn.

Ten students from Dexter High School traveled to Jefferson City on July 23 to sing in the Missouri Choral Directors Association Honors Choir. Jamie Sepulvado, choir director at DHS, is a member of the association and accompanied her students. Students were required to submit an audition CD in March for inclusion in the prestigious choir. Making the cut were, from left, Jon Rodgers, Shelby Gathings, and Brooks Propst. "These talented students were able to participate in the daily rehearsals and performance on July 24th," Sepulvado said. "They brought tears to my eyes at their performances. Their music was beautiful, and they represented Dexter well. I was proud of them and of their accomplishments."
