Proclamation signed to kick off Industrial Appreciation Week

The Dexter Chamber of Commerce prepared for Industrial Appreciation Week with a proclamation signing by Mayor Joe Weber Friday morning at the Chamber offices. Also present were members of the Chamber and city officials. Industrial Appreciation Week will be observed Sept. 9-14 with a wide range of activities. Fruit baskets will be given to industry managers on Monday, cookies (4,600) will be delivered to business employees on Tuesday, a four-person golf scramble at Hidden Trails Country Club will be held on Wednesday, sweet treats for industry employees on Thursday, a complimentary breakfast at Pizza Hut Friday beginning at 7 a.m. and a bowling tournament will be held Saturday at Dexter Bowl.
