Patton-Patton Junction Livestock Auction: Feeder Cattle and Cow auction for 6/9/2014

   Compared to last week, the steer offering and heifers over 500 lbs sold 3.00-
13.00 higher, the rest of the heifer offering sold 2.00-5.00 lower with more 
calves showing more fill than last week.  Slaughter cow and bulls sold 4.00 
higher. Demand uneven and supply light. Cows made up approximately 9 percent 
of the run, 91 percent feeders.  Steers made up approximately 34 percent of the 
offering, 44 percent heifers with 22 percent feeder bulls.  Offerings over 600 
lbs totaled around 21 percent.
