Missouri Weekly Hay Summary Week ending 06/13/2014

   Following a long string of days with rain, or a high percentage chance
of rain, and high humidity haying is delayed in all regions of the state.
Many producers have not yet made their first cutting and those that have,
were able to cut a couple weeks ago and progress since then has been mostly
a no-go. The supply is moderate, demand is good, and prices are steady.

specified and on most recent reported sales price listed as round bales

Missouri Regional Fescue Seed Prices (06/12/2014)

   Compared to last week, bids were steady to 3.00
higher. Harvest is still expected to be limited, and
is at least a week away. Maturation is later than normal
and the plant health is less than ideal.
(Dry: Moisture 12-14% - Wet: Moisture greater than 14%)

Southwest, Northeast, Central, South Central, Northwest, 
and Southeast: .23-.28 wet, .25-.30 dry.
