Christmas Eve rescue unique sight

A Dexter man escaped injury, but his vehicle is a total loss, after it ended up in a pond just outside Dexter's city limits late Christmas Eve. It took 74 feet of ladder and the Dexter Fire Department's Extrication Team to rescue the driver, who reportedly lost control of his vehicle trying to avoid hitting a deer. The vehicle swerved into a pond near the Lighthouse Christian Center, just north of the city, near the Highway 25 and Highway 60 overpass.
