Patton - Patton Junction Livestock Auction: Feeder Cattle and Cow auction for 7/13/2015

   Due to the Holidays there was no sale last week, however compared 
to two weeks ago, 600 lbs steers and 500-600 lbs heifers sold 3.00-8.00 
higher, 300-400 lbs heifers sold 20.00-30.00 lower, the rest of the 
offering sold 5.00-10.00 lower.  Slaughter cow sold 1.00 higher, bulls 
sold steady; Demand uneven and supply light.  Cows made up approximately 
18 percent of the run, 82 percent feeders.  Steers made up approximately 
37 percent of the offering, 49 percent heifers with 14 percent feeder 
bulls.  Offerings over 600 lbs totaled around 16 percent.

300-350 lbs 293.00-322.00; 350-400 lbs 275.00-290.00; 400-500 lbs 262.50-

   Cow-calf pairs:  Medium and Large 1-2  3-7 yrs old, 995-1230 lbs with 
170-310 lbs calves, 1895.00-3028.00 per pair.
