Feeder Cattle and Cow auction for 8/17/2015 Receipts: 349 Last Week: 436 Last Year: 562 Compared to last week, steers sold 5.00-12.00 higher and heifers sold steady to 6.00 higher on a light test. Slaughter cows sold 2.00 lower, bulls sold 4.00 lower; Demand good and supply light. Cows made up approximately 16 percent of the run, 84 percent feeders. Steers made up approximately 36 percent of the offering, 38 percent heifers with 26 percent feeder bulls.
