The weather couldn't have been better for the annual Bloomfield Fall Fest on Oct. 16-17, 2015. Sunny skies and pleasantly cool temperatures provided A comfortable venue for the popular event.

A Friday afternoon parade, beauty pageants, a quilt show, vendors selling goodies, and an Evans Pottery demonstration were all a part of the festivities.

Evans Pottery was the only business not destroyed by either the Union or the Confederate forces during the Civil War. The reason for its being spared is generally owing to the fact that Evans made whiskey jugs for both sides.
