Monthly Sheep and Goat Report for 11/20/2015
 
Receipts:  725    Last Month:  878    Year Ago:  783

   Compared to last month, feeder lambs sold steady; slaughter lambs sold 5.00 
higher; slaughter ewes traded steady; slaughter rams steady.  Slaughter billies 
sold 5.00 lower; nannies sold 6.00 higher, slaughter kids sold 15.00 higher, 
feeder kids sold 5.00 lower and yearlings scarce; Demand good and supply 
moderate.  Sheep made up approximately 49 percent of the offering, 51 percent 
goats.  *Sheep and goat sale is on the third Friday of the month at 10:00 am*

   Sheep: 358 head
 
   Slaughter Lambs:  Choice 1  45-68 lbs, 207.50-225.00; 75-95 lbs 156.00-
195.00. Yearling: few 115-130 lbs 107.50-125.00.
	
   Feeder Lambs:  Medium and Large 1-2  few 30-40 lbs 190.00-224.00.

   Slaughter Ewes:  Utility and Good 2-3  95-140 lbs, 75.00-100.00.  Culls 95-
105 lbs 70.00-76.00.  

   Slaughter Rams:  Utility and Good 2-3  145-210 lbs 87.50-110.00.

   Replacement Ewes:  Medium and Large 1-2 few 95-120 lbs 115.50-127.50.
     
   Replacement Rams:  Medium and Large 1-2 few 130-180 lbs 107.50-110.00. 

   Goats: 367 

   Kid:  Selection 1  40-78 lbs 220.00-252.50.  Selection 2-3 48-62 lbs, 177.50-
212.50.

   Does/Nannies:  Selection 1-2  few 60-142 lbs, 102.50-131.00.

   Billies:  Bulk medium flesh  few 95-140 lbs, 125.00-150.00.

   Replacement Classes Nannies:  Selection 1-2  75-110.00 lbs 135.00-150.00. 

   Stocker/Feeder Kids:  Selection 1-2  22-38 lbs 177.50-205.00.
