Friendship Baptist to hold Spring Revival

Friendship Baptist Church will be holding a Spring Revival April 28 through May 1. Services will be held on Sunday at 10:45 a.m. and 6 p.m. with the Monday through Wednesday night services at 7 p.m.

Gene and Diana Edwards from Mountain Grove, Mo. will lead the services. Since being ordained into the gospel ministry in 1976 (at Fellowship Baptist Church in Sikeston) he has pastored churches in Diehlstadt, Van Buren and Steele. His last pastorate was at First Baptist Church in Mountain Grove, Mo. where he served for 24 years. Since retiring in 2014 Gene and his wife Diana have served in full-time evangelism; leading revivals, bible conferences, marriage retreats and sportsman's events. Gene is a spirit-filled preacher and Diana is a gifted musician and soloist.
