Absentee ballots available for Stoddard County residents at county clerk's office

Stoddard County residents can vote absentee in person at the Stoddard County Clerk's office in Bloomfield. Stoddard County Clerk Cecil Weeks said individuals wishing to do this will be asked to sign an affidavit stating they wish to vote absentee and they then will be given a ballot.

Weeks said the Stoddard County Clerk's office will be open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and on the Saturday before the election, October 31, 8 a.m. to noon.

Weeks said absentee ballots have already exceeded the absentee ballots in the 2016 election.
