COVID-19 vaccination clinic held at SoutheastHEALTH Center of Stoddard County

Dexter, MO. - Southeast Health Center of Stoddard County hosted a COVID-19 vaccination clinic today for those qualifying for the Tier 1- 1A, 1B-Tiers 1 and 2. Five hundred doses of the vaccine were provided from SoutheastHEALTH in Cape Girardeau.

SoutheastHEALTH has been a pre-positioning site for the COVID-19 Pfizer vaccine since mid-December, and over the past two months has deployed over 8,000 doses of the vaccine throughout Southeast Missouri. As the vaccination plan moves into its next level, SoutheastHEALTH will implement vaccination clinics based on the priority phases.

Southeast Health Center of Stoddard County CEO Sue Ann Williams, says, "We are very excited to bring the COVID vaccine to our most vulnerable citizens in the region and we want to thank the COVID team for making this possible."

She added that SoutheastHEALTH worked in collaboration with the Stoddard County Public Health Center to host this event.
