Stoddard County confirms 55 new cases of COVID-19; 81st death

New cases of COVID-19 in Stoddard County continue to rise. Stoddard County Health Center Director Ben Godwin, has confirmed 55 new cases of COVID-19 since the last update on Monday. He additionally confirmed the 81st COVID-19 related death in Stoddard County. The county now sits at 198 active cases of COVID-19. This is nearly four times the number of active cases reported one year ago. On August 25, 2020 the Stoddard County Health Center reported a total of 50 active cases in Stoddard County. Stoddard County has seen 4170 total confirmed case of COVID-19 up from 296 one year ago.

Broken down by age group the confirmed cases since the start of the pandemic are 0 to 19 – 594, 20 to 29 – 618 cases, 30 to 39 – 573 cases, 40 to 49 – 635 cases, 50 to 59 – 553 cases, 60 to 69 – 531 cases, 70 to 79 – 388 cases and 80-plus – 278 cases. Broken down by gender the county has confirmed 1,859 cases in males and 2,311 cases in females.
