Dexter mayor, three aldermen facing challengers in April election

The filing deadline has passed and Dexter voters will decide four contested city races in April as the mayor and three aldermen will face challengers to their respective seats..

Mayor Jason Banken has filed to run for a third term, however Eric Bien will look to unseat Banken in the municipal election.

Three alderman are seeing their terms expire and all three have filed for reelection. Frank Killian will run again in Ward I, as will Larry Rogers in Ward II and Glen Robinson in Ward III. However all three will be challenged for those seats.

In Ward I Randal Tennison will look to unseat Killian. In Ward II Bryce Matthews will challenge Rogers and in Ward III Larry Helm will challenge for Robinson's seat.

Voters will go to the polls in April 5, 2022 to decide the city races in the municipal election.
