City of Dexter and Police Department ask residents to stay home

Thursday, February 3, 2022

The City of Dexter and the Dexter Police Department have asked residents to stay home as the winter storm continues pushing through the area. The city stated on social media that all city roads are snow and sleet covered. Crews are out plowing and treating city roads.

The statement from the city also said all services will be available today including trash pick up. Additional accumulation is predicted from the storm and will diminish already hazardous road conditions. Dexter City Administrator Trevor Pulley said the city has a warming shelter ready should it be needed.
