September slips by
2011 is winding down with hotter than average temperatures
The end of summer season is slipping across Missouri with temperatures still in the occasional 80's, as the fair season starts. We wonder when it will end? What autumnal surprises does our state have in store for us in the next few month?
The following schedule of events is for the Advance community in September. If there are changes, let Madeline know by calling 573-722-5322.
Sept. 1---- 6 p.m. Thursday--Advance Senior Community Board of Trustees meets at the senior center building on C Highway.
Sept. 5--- 10 a.m. Labor Day Parade in Advance with fair following in Umfleet Park.
Sept. 6---- 7 p.m. Tuesday--Advance Community Library Board of Directors.
Sept. 12---- 7 p.m. Monday--rescheduled Advance R-IV Board of Education meets in the superintendent's office.
Sept. 16---- Friday--The Advance Senior Community Center reopens, after being closed for 4 weeks because of health and volunteer issues.
Sept. 19---- Monday-- 6 p.m. Advance Board of Aldermen meeting.
Sept. 25---- Sunday-- 2 p.m. Pleasant Hill Singing on 00 Highway at Tillman.
Sept. 26---- Monday-- 6:30 p.m. Stoddard County Historical Society meeting at Stars and Stripes Museum in Bloomfield.
