Dexter High School inducts newest members into the National Honor Society

Dexter High School inducted 25 new members into the National Honor Society. Four candles were lit during the ceremony representing the four core values of the National Honor Society: Character, Scholarship, Leadership and Service. A banquet honoring all members of the National Honor Society at DHS was held after the ceremony.

The new members of the Dexter Chapter of the National Honor Society are: McKayla Annesser, Taylor Babb-Ward, Emily Battles, Ryder Boles, Alexis Burns, Bailey Chamberlain, Jaycee Chappell, Andrew Ellinghouse, Abby Goodrich, Evan Grobe, Haden Hillis, Kaylee Honeycutt, Makenzie Hutson, Mason Keena, Alanie Lacy, Layne Medler, Kolby Musgrave, Payton Phelan, Hannah Pyles, Andrew Soule, Damon Stearns, Chloe Thurman, Justin Viers, Tara Williams and Bronwen Young.

The officers of the Dexter chapter of the National Honor Society are: Vice President Victoria Bess, Secretary Jillian Avery, Treasurer Mallory Dunlap, Service Coordinator Ann Marie Slaton, Service Coordinator Audrey Lutmer and Historian Hailee Mayfield. Not pictured is President Madilyn Hampton who was unable to attend due to illness.
