The 2023 Bloomfield Chamber Banquet was held at the Boat House Venue and Wine Company. the awards ceremony recognized area residents for their contributions to the area.

The Teacher of the Year Award was presented to Sonja Hobbs. Hobbs has taught at Bloomfield for 23 years and a member of the staff for 25 years. Pictured is Bloomfield Chamber Board member Zach Pounds, Hobbs and Chamber president Amy Haas.

The Farm Family of the Year was presented to Aslin Farms. Aslin Farms was started in 1919 and was recognized as a Century Farm in 2019 by the Farm Bureau of Missouri. Pictured is the Aslin Family with Chamber Vice President Janis Traughber (second from right) and Chamber President Amy Haas.

The Bloomfield City Personnel of the Year is John Bruce. Bruce has worked for the City of Bloomfield since 1983. Pictured from left is Brice, Chamber Secretary/Treasurer Kren Griffin and Chamber president Amy Haas.

the Woman of the Year is Tammy Fowler. Fowler moved to Missouri with husband Ken in 1980. She became a nurse in 1980 and a nurse practitioner in 1997.Pictured is Fowler (left) with Chamber President Amy Haas.

The Man of the Year is Peter Coutavas. Coutavas is working with the Chamber to bring new businesses to Bloomfield through his position as Stoddard County IDA Director. he also has extended his efforts to assist all communities is Stoddard County. The Business of the Year is Las Brisas. Las Brisas has been in Bloomfield since 2018 and the company's 10th restaurant. they have given back to the community by doing such things as supplying all Bloomfield School teachers with gift cards.
