The annual Back the Blue Luncheon was held at the Gathering in Dexter. Members of the Stoddard County Sheriff's Department, Dexter Police Department and Missouri Highway Patrol were honored. Each member of the departments received a certificate of appreciation for their service from the Missouri Legislature. The event is presented each year by local resident Sue Edwards. Presiding Commissioner Danny Talkington along with Edwards presented the certificates.
