The second annual Journalism Summer Camp will return to the Stars and Stripes Museum.

It will be held June 24-28, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily at The Stars and Stripes National Museum and Library.

This year’s theme is U.S. Conflicts: the 1860s vs. the 1960s in the Words of Enlisted Troops and Civilians. Explore history, interview veterans and produce The Stars and Stripes Journalism Camp Newspaper Kids Edition.

This day camp is open to fifth through eighth graders (ages 10-14) interested in U.S. history, writing or reporting.

The registration fee is $50. Registration includes all activities, an exclusive camp T-shirt, daily snacks, and lunch on Friday. Space is limited to 25 campers, so those interested are encouraged to register early.
