The Love Bug...snow style

It looks as if with the turn of a key this red Volkswagon could take off on a road trip. In reality, the snow-sculptured "bug" will be only a memory after a few days of sunshine. Kenny Gaines on Timberlake Dr. in Dexter spent several hours Wednesday, using only a small plastic hand shovel, building the VW replica. Nearly actual size, the bug is hollowed out, with an igloo behind it to allow a driver to enter and exit. Gaines spray-painted his masterpiece and calls it, "The Love Bug." It may be seen (until temperatures rise) at 1210 Timberlake Dr.
