RR track fire threatens homes

A large scale brush fire along train tracks running north and south near Hwy. 25 was sparked Tuesday when a maintenance vehicle was working on the train tracks. The fire starts about one mile north of Hwy. 60 and traveled to just north of Bernie. The fire threatened numerous homes and several businesses.
