SCAD to purchase three tornado shelters

The Stoddard County Ambulance District (SCAD) Board of Directors voted this week to purchase three flat-ground tornado shelters at a cost of $6,500 per shelter. The units will be purchased from Taylor Hyslop of Bloomfield, a distributor and installer of storm shelters from a Kentucky-based company called Storm Sheild.
