2 hurt in Saturday wreck on Hwy. 60

Two people sustained moderate injuries in a Valentine's Day wreck on old Highway 60, just east of Highway 51 in Stoddard County. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a westbound 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt driven by Shania Case, 16, of Dudley, traveled off the left side of the roadway around 9:45 p.m. and overturned. Case, along with her passenger, 24-year-old Elizabeth Evans of Bloomfield, were injured. Both were transported by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center...

It appears Punxsutawney Phil was right. Forecasters predicted six to 12 inches of snow would blanket Stoddard County Sunday night, and they were just about on the money.
