Endangered Silver Advisory alert issued

The Poplar Bluff Police Department has issued an Endangered Silver Advisory for a missing adult who suffers memory loss. Robert Lee Coats, 83, was last seen at about 9:45 a.m. Tuesday at First Midwest Bank 704 N. Westwood Blvd. According to the advisory, Coats while at the bank withdrew a large sum of money from his account. Coats purchased a blue 2006 Pontiac G6 with Missouri Temporary Registration 055NVV and his direction of travel is unknown...

Three Rivers College offers free routes to commercial driving training

Workforce Development at Three Rivers College now offers a five-week Commercial Driving Training program that prepares students to successfully complete the test requirements for Missouri Class A CDL Driver License. Three Missouri programs are available to help qualified students complete this training free of charge.

Stoddard County confirms 20th COVID-19 related death; 16 new cases

The Director of the Stoddard County Health Center, Ben Godwin, has confirmed the 20th COVID-19 related death in Stoddard County. Godwin said the case was related to the nursing home outbreak. Godwin also confirmed 16 new cases of COVID-19 along with 26 recoveries. The county now sits at 971 confirmed cases of COVID-19 with 169 active, 782 recoveries and 20 deaths...
