Stoddard County Fair Board awards scholarships

The Stoddard County Fair Board has awarded five Stoddard County students each a $1,000 scholarship. To qualify for the scholarship, the student must be a graduate of a school in Stoddard County and have been an exhibitor in the Stoddard County Fair at least three years from the eighth grade to their senior year. The Stoddard County Emergency Management Office has released the following information to assist residents in the recovery process. • For homeowner recovery needs, residents are recommended to contact the United Way by calling ‘211’ from their cell phone, or by dialing (800) 427-4626 from a regular phone. The United Way has a call center set-up, and can direct residents to appropriate agencies and organizations based on their exact needs...
