WalMart presents $1,000 to Hope International

Dexter WalMart Super Center presented a check for $1,000 to Hope International to help with costs of a Back to School event they will hold Aug. 7, 2012 at the Lighthouse Christian Center in Dexter. Hope International will provide school supplies to students in Stoddard County registering before July 30. Registration can be made at the Lighthouse Center, at the Hope International offices in Bernie or by computer at www.hope-international.us The Back to School event on Aug. 7 will run from 9 a.m .to 3 p.m. Included will be vision and hearing screening, dental cleanings, haircuts and refreshments and food. Dexter WalMart Manager Debbie Juden, at right, presented the check to Gale Jordan, administrator/general manager of Hope International. Jordan said the money will be used to purchase school supplies for students who register before the deadline.
