Lions Club at work within community

In June 2012, the Dexter Lions installed a water fountain at West City Park to benefit all park patrons. Recently, they continued with their commitment toward community betterment with a second installation of a Lion fountain at Dexter's East City Park for all to enjoy. Shown are Lions Club members as they gathered last week around their newest contribution to the local parks system. The Lions Club focuses on sight conservation and has worked with the local schools as well as national and international entities to secure eyeglasses for those in need. They also provide annual scholarships to local high school grads pursuing a college degree. The local Lions have a motto that goes, "If it isn't fun, it isn't Lionism." Proof of that theory exists in both West and East City Parks in Dexter.
