Narrow network selected for county employees' insurance

BLOOMFIELD, Mo. -- The Stoddard County Commission voted to go with the Blue Preferred Select health insurance plan for all employees and elected county officials at a special meeting Thursday morning. The plan utilizes a narrow network of health providers, but employees and officials have the option of "buying up" to a broader network at a cost of $45.36 per month. For those choosing to go with a broader network, the $45.36 will be deducted from their payroll checks.
