Patton-Patton Junction Livestock Auction: Feeder Cattle and Cow auction for 7/7/2014

   No sale last week due to the Holidays, compared to two last weeks ago 
steers and heifers under 600 lbs sold uneven from 8.00 higher to 5.00 lower 
with the offering over 600 lbs selling 12.00 lower.  Slaughter cow and bulls 
sold 7.00-8.00 higher; Demand uneven and supply light.  Cows made up 
approximately 12 percent of the run, 88 percent feeders.  Steers made up 
approximately 30 percent of the offering, 43 percent heifers.  Offerings 
over 600 lbs totaled around 20 percent.
