Advance 5th grade volleyball team wins gold at Show-Me Games

The Advance 5th Grade Volleyball team traveled to Columbia for the Show-Me Games on July 26, 2014. The tournament, which was held at the Hearnes Center, consisted of round robin pools to seed a single-elimination tournament. Advance was seeded third.

The Advance Aces won gold, the St. Louis Comets won silver, and the One-hit Wonders from Bourbon, Mo. won bronze.

Each of the Advance girls received a gold medal.

"The girls had a lot of fun, and many parents and grandparents drove to Columbia to support the team," said Misty Olin, one of the parents.
