Missouri Weekly Hay Summary Week ending 08/15/2014
Saturday, August 16, 2014
A fairly quite and uneventful week as far as hay business goes. Many producers are waiting to see how much the recent moisture helps revive pastures. Hay movement remains very limited about the only sales currently taking place are local sales between neighbors and to some dairy farmers. Supply is moderate, demand is light, and prices are steady to weak. The Missouri Department of Agriculture has a hay directory available for both buyers and sellers.
