Patton - Patton Junction Livestock Auction: Feeder Cattle and Cow auction for 1/5/2015

   Due to Holidays there was no sales the past two weeks, however 
compared the last December sale the steers and heifers under 600 lbs 
sold 11.00-34.00 higher, the offering over 600 lbs sold 4.00-18.00 
higher.  Slaughter cow sold 2.00 lower and bulls sold 1.00 lower; Demand 
very good and supply light.  Cows made up approximately 15 percent of 
the run, 85 percent feeders.  Steers made up approximately 56 percent of 
the offering, 32 percent heifers with 11 percent feeder bulls.  Offerings 
over 600 lbs totaled around 29 percent.
