JAKES Day this weekend

The annual JAKES Day will be this Saturday June 8 at the Holly Ridge Archery Range on County Road 517 south of Route E. The event starts at 7:30 a.m. and will go to approximately noon. Lunch will be served afterward.

The event is open to youth ages 6 to 17. Archery, trap shooting, turkey biology, primitive skills, fur bearer and trapping demo and water safety will be presented.

The event is presented by the Missouri Department of Conservation and National Wild Turkey Federation.
