Endangered silver advisory issued for Ellington man who may be en route to Poplar Bluff

ELLINGTON — An endangered silver advisory has been issued as authorities search for an Ellington man who suffers from dementia and hypoglycemia and was last seen leaving a care facility on foot, possibly en route to Poplar Bluff.

The Ellington Police Department issued the advisory after Richard Dorey, 78, was last seen at 5 p.m. Tuesday at the Brent B. Tinnin Manor, 200 Euel Polk Drive.

Dorey, a white male, 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing 180 pounds, was last seen wearing a red shirt; blue jeans, with black suspenders and black shoes. He has gray hair, blue eyes and scars on his chin and right arm.

Dorey was last seen leaving the facility on foot toward Highway 21, possibly en route to the Poplar Bluff area.

Anyone who has seen Dorey or has any information regarding his whereabouts should call 911 immediately, contact the nearest law enforcement agency or the Ellington Police Department at 573-648-2491.
