Lunch Box Receives Grant

Tuesday, January 21, 2020

The Lunch Box in Dexter received a $13,500 grant from the Missouri Department of Agriculture Agriculture Development division. The grant will be used to install a new walk-in cooler at the facility. This will allow the safe storage of more food. Currently the facility has an outdoor walk-in cooler that has limited storage. The Bootheel Regional Planning Commission, who writes grants for six counties in the Bootheel, wrote the grant.
