Endangered per advisory issued for Sikeston children

The Sikeston Department of Public Safety has issued an Endangered Person Advisory after a woman allegedly took her noncustodial children from foster care Sunday morning.

According to authorities Akira R. Marr, 27, is believed to have taken Amya L. Marr, 3, and Amiracle J. Henry, 5, from foster care on William Street in Sikeston. The incident took place at 11:30 Sunday morning.

Akira Marr is described as a black female, 5-foot-5, 166 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Amya Marr is described as a black, female, 3-0, 24 pounds, black hair, brown eyes, wearing purple shirt with "Daddy is my heart" and black pants. Amiracle J Henry is described as a black, female, 4-2, 48 pounds, black hair, brown eyes, wearing blue Nickelodeon Junior shirt and black leggings.

Akira R. Marr has a history of substance abuse and an undiagnosed mental disorder.

Authorities say the three subjects are traveling in a gray 2008 Chevrolet Impala bearing the Missouri license plate number EB7L8K. They were last seen traveling west from William Street in Sikeston.
